WE GOT A NEW DOG!!!!

Her name is Yuki! She's a 9 week old native american indian dog. Basicaly a bunch of northen breeds. Look at her in awe!

these are photos from when she was delivered. It was also my first time using flash photography and it turned out great!

Jambalaya's is an art gallery in Oshkosh, WI. let me tell you, Oshkosh moves different. I haven't seen a crowd move like this before. Never ending, Non stop violence. Durring our first song, someone stomped on one of the cables on my pedalboard, breaking the connector. I've sence repaired them with 90 degree jacks.

MKE Ultra was a super cool show to play. it's run by a few guys who bought the building for a practice space. they wound up converting it into a studio in the back, and eventuraly people started asking if they could have shows in the large liveroom.

ZAO is a church in Milwaukee that's gaining a reputation for hosting community events in it's basement. these strangely include hardcore shows. it's a very presbyterian belief, but some Christian churches believe God made everything. this includes the music that speaks out against him. and to that point, if we silence these voices we will only create another enemy.

Knowing that the lighting was going to be super easy to work with here I tried some color film along with my classic b/w. Kodak Porta 800 and Illford Delta 3200

today was my sister's birthday! Unfortunately though, the Milwaukee public museum is moving, and leaving the streets of old Milwaukee behind. This exhibit has always been a staple in the area and did a wonderful job showing the history of Milwaukee as it was coming to be a proper city. Did you know Milwaukee is a Algonquian word meaning 'Gathering place' or 'Good land'?

I went for my tried and true, Ilford Delta 3200 film not only because the exhibit is dark, but the grainy, black and white film is perfect for getting an 'older' look in this context.

Normally I stick to black and white film because it’s the only film fast enough to meet my needs in the low light areas I shoot, but lately I’ve been experimenting with pushing color film. These shots are Kodak Portra 800 pushed one stop at 1600 and they turned out great! The lighting is fairly monochromatic, so editing it is still kind of simple like black and white. I’m going to a show on December 13th where I’m gonna try a +3 stop push on some cinestill 800t

These are from the holloween show at a basement venue called DeadAir. They're one of the best-kept secrets in the uwm party scene. I've played there before, and just like last time this was some of the most fun I've ever had

The smaller the venue, the more packed it feels. High Dive is a tiny dive bar in milwuakee. The place is not set up for metal. with no room to spare, we set up our drummer on the stage with the guitar cabs directly behind him. the bass cab was put on the floor next to the stage and we all stayed on the floor.

We played our first out of town show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. We had a nice crowd and the people that booked it want us to paly up there again soon. everything feels up and up the more I play in these shows. I've meet some of my closest friends through music.
